Well, FWIW, I used to own a Healey 100/6... at least three times the 
maintenance of any TR. Parts often cost more and the car is not quite as 
robust in terms of long hauls. Overall, I'd have to agree that the "drool 
factor" is less, but if you want a car you can use and enjoy, the TR6 has 
gotta come out on top.

In fact, I sold the Healey just a few months ago but kept the TR :>
