Message text written by Paul Mitchell >The second (don't ask how I discovered this while trying to fit the hard top) is the answer to the mysterious "coat hangers in the boot" noise I get when cornering and braking, about which I emailed the list a few months back. I have found that there is a spring in the fuel tank, of quite thick wire, roughly conical and about 5 or 6 inches long. It's not connected to anything. Does anyone have any idea what it is or how it might have got there? Thanks Paul 74 TR6 PI < Paul, Do you have kids? Dave |
