Perhaps it's a case where everyone is correct. In a way, the TR3 and TR4
certainly DO share the same basic chassis. The track was widened some 4"
front and rear. In the front, that meant grafting additional "rails"
outboard of the original rails (which remained in place, of course). In
the rear, it was simply a wider axle casing and longer axles. But the
"basic" chassis structure was the same.
