Doug,
If you want to develop a real case of "ship-wrights" You can relace the
trunion bushings and the U-joints and rebuild the brakes, and don't
forget the axle bearings. How are your shocks?
But seriously, replace the studs and nuts on the diff and at the eyes.
I don't know if you will get the bushings included with a new spring, if
not you may wish to go with poly or nylon bushings.
As always this is JMO.
