Very possible, easy even.  Have my 70 windscreen sitting in the workshed
right now.  Just cut the seal around the windscreen.  Your going to use a
new seal anyway right?  Yes, it's not a good idea to use the old rubberl as
it will never seal the same as before so its false economy to use the old
seal.  Besides they're fairly inexpensive.  BTW, while were on the subject
of windscreens, does everybody that has replaced the 'finishers' (plastic
silver/chrome trim) on their windscreens have the same problem with the item
shrinking to the point that the little clip that conceals the joint no
longer conceals the joint?  On my GT6 rear hatch this really looks ugly!
And what then, find a longer clip?  It would work for me, but have no idea
where to look.  Any answers??
