Regarding the apparantly NLA piston removal tool, you can make your own:
There are rubber freeze plugs - these expand to fill a freeze plug hole
when a nut on the plug is turned. They come in various sizes so you can
usually find one that will fit your piston. Drill a hole in an
appropriately sized piece of stout scrap metal (one that will not bend
when you prise the piston out) and attach the plug.
One other technique a friend of mine swore by is to replace the bleeder
screw with a grease fitting and use a grease gun to push the pistons
out. Same principle as compressed air but a lot more controlled.
Hope this helps,
Mike
