The Alpine parts list doesn't give a part number for the lid for the Series
I and II. It just says "not supplied". For the Series III it gives part
number 2222334. The lid is not shown in the Tiger parts supplement. This
would make me think that there was only ever one version of the lid. But
who knows. All of the photos I've been able to find show lids that are
shaped like mine and the cut outs in the body look the same. I'm now
guessing that when they drilled the holes for the hinges and quarter-turn
fastener they were off just a little bit.
The photo that Tom Witt sent shows a lid that is flat without the stamped,
raised area. So there must have been more than one version.
