Even more amazing to me is that there are cars that get 50+ miles per gallon. How many bottles of Evian would you use if you walked those 50+ miles??? Regardless, I still remember a little Texaco station on Main St. in Alhambra, CA. back about the very late 1960's that sold gas for 23.9 cents a gallon. So, when I saw it for $2.39 this Fall it kind of hurt. By the way the station had the first gas lines I ever saw...., for all the right reasons :-) Tom Witt |
