Your dwell on each point should be 271/2 degress. With a 7 degree overlap
between them, that gives you 34-35 degrees total. One of the nice things
about an Accel is that you can set the points externally while the engine is
running, and can set each point individually. If you are still running the
Accel points, do yourself a favor and replace them (and your distributor cap,
if you need one) with points for a 55 Chev V8. They work great, and
eliminate the extremely high return spring pressure of the Accel points, and
cost a lot less too!
