Ok, I'll remind you, first I have had my Tiger since new so put aside
your Alger conspiracy. My view is that the more Tigers that are saved,
the better for our marque. Many of the restorations that are shown at
Pebble Beach etc. are cars with nothing original than their title or
build plate. Many cars are created from scratch. If a Tiger has rusted
away so the body is not worth saving why not transfer the Tiger to an
Alpine body? As long as no one is creating a non existant Tiger whats the
harm. We seem to be the only marque having a secret commitee. If someone
buys Tiger that is not a Tiger, that is fraud and is easily remedied.
Sunbeams are known to rust badly so lets not lose a Tiger because some
weld or cut was not made at the Jensen factory. We already know of
factory Tigers that were built with Alpine bodies. Lets save the Tigers.
