Clay,
         The Speedi-sleeve and Redi-sleeve (both TMs of Chicago Rawhide 
(CR) and National, respectively) are designed for reclaiming SEAL surfaces 
not bearing surfaces. The manufacturers would frown, at the very least, at 
the suggestion they be used for that. As a last resort, because of price 
only, for re-sizing a bearing surface the best approach is spray-welding.
