I make a U shaped hook out of a coat hanget and drop it down between the rear 
of the tranny and the sheet metal that surrounds the shifter.when the 
driveshaft is inserted into the tunnel I hook the yoke with the wire and work 
it into the tranny.It takes a little doing but you don't have a pile of trash 
in the tunnel.Brad
