I can't see how indexing the plugs would help. If you want an earlier spark you just advance the timing. Does it matter where the flame kernal starts? Surely it is the speed of the burn that counts? I think it is the case that a richer mixture may need a stronger spark - is that what you meant Jeff? What you say about the Petronix seems about right, in that it does not amplify the ignition 'signal' but it may sharpen it up. Daniel |
