Greetings, all.

Sorry to bomb the lists, but Im not sure who is on what list anymore. If
you get this 3 times, I apologize.

The temp gauge on Lazarus seems to be reading high. While driving at speed
today in 70 degree weather the gauge sat at 7/8ths. When I turn on the
ignition with the engine cold, it reads about 3/8ths. I dont recall it
doing that before. I thought maybe the voltage stabilizer was shot, so I
hooked my analog volt meter up the power lead for the gauge. The reading
cycled from 6 to 11 volts with about a = second cycle. Does that sound
reasonable? It seems a bit low to me, if the average is supposed to be 10
volts. Would low voltage cause the gauge to read high? That seems counter
intuitive. BTW, the gas gauge seems to be fairly close, as it read full
when I finished filling the tank today.

Another thought is that the temp gauge itself is bad. Does anyone know what
voltage should cause a full scale deflection? Id like to test it out.

Im planning to build a solid state regulator, but havent had the time yet.
Yes, I know I can buy one, but rolling my own is more fun.

Last, what do you folks do for a radiator if you need more cooling capacity
beyond the stock 21 unit?

Thanks to all.
