sticking oil plug

I will try both the foot pressure and the eight point socket recomended by 
you folks today, but I am very weary since I have a history of breaking 
rather large bolts, not that I'm proud of it, more frustrated by it than 
anything else. what about liquid wrench? I've never had trouble with a drain 
plug before, and I always have done them by hand.
