I have them on my 78 Spit with Koni's. They lower the front end of the
car by about 1.5", no clearance problem with my 185/70 tires although
the ride is a little more stiff.

I don't know about a Kenlowe but I have put an Hayden 10.5" electric
fan into my car as a puller. I had to make up some brackets to mount
the fan. It works very well and it keeps the engine cool during the
hotest Montreal summer days. Here are some pictures and it you look
closely you can see the painted blue springs in some of the pictures.
