Hello all;
As I mentioned last week, I've got to rebuild the front and rear suspensions.
The mechanic, who appears to know LBC's, says there's no advantage to using
polyurethane over rubber, except it makes for a stiffer, ie less comfortable,
ride.
I'd like to hear your opinions, esp. those folks who've made the switch.
There's not that much difference in price, so which should I do?
I have always prefered handling over smooth ride, but I don't really know
what the car feels like with good rubber, and can't properly judge whether
there'd be any improvement. My gut says poly. What do you say?
Also, he tells my the rack on the '68 is NG, loose inner tie rods, worn out
bushings, etc, I've got the rack from the '70, but I'm not confident of my
ability to judge the parts car's rack's condition. Advice?
TIA;
Brian
