Hi all --

I'm looking around trying to locate some parts from either a D-type
or an A-type overdrive unit.

I'm trying to replace the pump mechanism in the A-type overdrive I
got for my TR3, and have been informed by reliable sources (John J
Black of Waterloo Drivetrain Systems) that the pump out of the more
common D-type ought to work, if I can find one.

So ... if anyone has an A-type or a D-type laying around, or parts
from one, that they might be willing to part with, I'd greatly
appreciate hearing from them.

On another note, I have scanned the original factory service manual
for A-type overdrives in the TR2-4 range (applies also to some
saloons). It's now in PDF form on my Web site. Find the link to it
at http://www.thelittlemacshop.com/trsite/download.html

Thanks,
Dan

1957 TR3, TS15098L, now with an O! Undergoing frame-off restoration
begun 9/99. Currently awaiting warm weather and funds.

1977 Spitfire, FM64159U, with an O. In need of a comprehensive
restoration (again); will probably become a Spit6 or a Spit8.
