Frank,
I just had my header for my 65 MKII aluminized. Basically it is treated
prior to being sprayed with molten aluminum. It is guarranteed not to chip,
peel, blister or discolor. It is also supposed to dissipate the heat better.
The finish is silver with an orange-peel texture. The cost was $65.00, a
stock manifold was less.
Cheers,
Rob Travis
