There's no easy way to tell if the driveshaft is 180 degrees out, that I know of. They aren't marked from the factory, and if the person who takes it apart doesn't mark it, then they've got a 50/50 chance of getting it wrong on re-assembly. If the person did mark the flanges, you can look and see if all the marks line up right. As for balancing, I'm not the person to ask, ask "Stephane St-Amant" <steph71tr6@crosswinds.net> since he successfully did it, not me. I've never pulled it off the way he did. |
