This is good information. In the past I haven't even bothered to ask about
Spitfire parts at the local parts dealers figuring that yes, they can
probably get it but they would have to order it from who knows where (yeah
right, "in by noon, out by June"). I really dislike waiting weeks or months
for parts to come in that I need now. But in the future I will first try
our local NAPA, Pep Boys, etc.

Actually, Advance Auto has a lot of parts in their computer. They don't
even ask who makes Triumph when I go in. I recently replaced a brake
caliper with a reconditioned unit for about $40 and they didn't even want
the core. I always try the local stores first.
