Terry,
Yes, the O/D drive shaft is a bit shorter. When I did this awhile back I
ended up having to shorten my drive shaft by about 3/4". I just took both
shafts to a drive shaft shop and had them take care of it and also balance
the shaft. Total was under $100 and was ready the next day. BTW -- you will
definitely love the difference the O/D makes in the Spit!
