Patrick, nice timing, you beat me by a day to hit the same problem. So far one
drum on and adjusters all the way out. I did some tapping of the shoes to get
them aligned and the drum that is on does turn but with some resistance. The
other is not on yet as I had to stop work for something else and have not got
back to it yet. The shoes are the same as the old ones except as Atwell pointed
out they are significantly thicker. I spent time comparing the shoes in case
they were incorrect even although the box said the correct thing. They are on
the same way as in the Haynes manual (and how the old ones were on) as they
should be in the same alignment from a rotational point of view. So the ones on
the other side are a mirror image.

p.s. I know how you feel about doing this as this is the first time I was
stumped putting the drum back on as well.
