I have been in correspondance with Aaron (spitracer) regarding being
burned by the individual mentioned below. Since Aaron has decided to
relate his story I shall as well. We had decided to allow the
individual to make things right with Aaron. This has not happened.

This story deals with one Mr. Albert Fisher Jones of Comfort, Texas who
claims to have either been a dealer in British Cars or some such
association in the past.

I bought a pair of horns from Fisher for $30 (I believe). As advertised
and work fine so far. I also wanted to purchase a set of letters
(TRIUMPH) for the bonnet. He sent these as well, apparently no charge
and I was quite happy with that.
I bought a front bumper from Fisher for $30 (fair price) plus $10
shipping. When the bumper FINALLY arrived (long after the check was
cashed) I found that
the bumper is crap. It has cracks, bends and kinks and is not able to
be straightened/welded and then rechromed. I'm stuck with it.
My fault for assuming that I would be sent something that I could at
least get rechromed. A lesson learned.
When I explained to Mr. Jones that I thought the bumper he sent me was
'crap' he berated me for using such foul language in email that might be
seen by a
youngster.

Oh. His response was that he didn't charge me for the 'letters' for the
bonnet. I would gladly pay for the letters if I was able to get a
decent bumper.
The balance of his response is for me to return the bumper and get my
money back. Yeah right.

Oh well, live and learn.

Jim
