I wanted to thank those on the list that responded to my plea for an Air
Pump.  New York State responds very unkindly to people who mess with
their pollution control systems and I had visions of being arrested,
handcuffed and dragged away kicking and screaming (OK, I'm being
melodramatic) for having it disconnected.  (We're not California yet but
they're working on it as fast as they can.)
