Moose, I am also a Brother all in one user, couldn=E2=80=99t be happier. It=E2=
=80=99s an old 6-ink photo unit but hasn=E2=80=99t given me much trouble.=20=
As for the HP color laser, a friend was required to buy particular HP printe=
r years ago because of the software he was using. Toner was expensive but si=
nce he didn=E2=80=99t use color much he figured that replacing the $150 blac=
k cartridge wasn=E2=80=99t a deal killer. A few months later it just stopped=
with no warning that the toner was out. He bought a black cartridge, then n=
oticed that the color cartridges were also needing replacement even though h=
e hadn=E2=80=99t printed any color documents. Turns out his printer used all=
the toners when printing black & white & that couldn=E2=80=99t be turned of=
f. My point is you might want to watch color toner consumption.=20

e the ONLY apps that should exist are the ones before an entree. 8>)=20
With that said, there are "photo to PDF" apps that you use your phone to jus=
t take a picture of the page and it converts it to a PDF (or other format.) =
They are often free and really are faster than a scanner.=20
Maybe try that and give up on the scanner for now.=20
Again, I HATE that I suggested that, but I think it will work for you.=20
