Has anyone mounted a spare tire on the side of the bed of a long step? My '50 3600 appears to have plenty of room for one between the cab and rear fender, although the fender is not cut out, and there is no mounting hardware. I think it would look good there, especially with a matching hubcap and beauty ring. Just wondering if this has been done, and if so, where do you get the hardware? Thanks- Smokey Culver '50 3600 5-window (mine) '58 Apache (hers) League City, Texas oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
