I'm using a Piper BP 285. My engine's a 1950cc with 10.8:1 CR (runs fine on
regular fuel over here in Europe, don't know how the fuel they sell over
here 's the same quality as the one in the states) with big valves and 2
sidedraught carbs.
Idles perfectly at 800 rpm (most people don't believe it's a 285 in there),
pulls like mad from +- 2500 rpm. I haven't taken it into high rpms as I'm
still running in.
