At the bottom of the dash is a square hollow beam.  I drilled a hole
in it above the hood handle, made an L-shaped bracket and mounted the
manual choke for a 76B with HIF's there. Physically, it is above the
hood release handle sufficiently to not mix the two.

Did this 'cause I could not reach the blank on the dash with my hands.
Works fine and the cable has a straight shot through an existing hole in
the firewall.
