Based on the coil markings given in the Workshop manual - HA12 being a 12v
coil and 16C6 being a 6v coil - I would say your old one is a 6v, which
would be correct for a rubber bumper car, and your new a 12v, which isn't.
You will probably get poor running, even if you can get it to start.
