The last time we pulled a B engine, we used a tip from an old timer LBC guy, we jacked up the rear of the car when we pulled the engine/transmission combo. This helped a lot with having to tilt the engine to work it out of the bay. We also used the same trick when we re-installed it. I don't know how this would work if you were just removing the engine, but I believe for the E/T it works well. Don Walton in NC 73 B 74B 77B |
