I don't believe that this is true... On another note... if you think that
getting the nut off is the only problem wait untill you try to twist off a
tierod end that has about 4 times more rusted thread surface to work
against.

Don't forget that the nut on one side is reverse threaded, don't
remember which side but just wanted let you know in case you didn't.
