Another data point:

I'm 6'4" and it's a pretty tight squeeze to get into my MGA roadster.
Replacing the stock steering wheel  with something smaller made it
possible to get my knees in, but I still can't stretch out my legs. As far as
windshield height, eye level is about 1/4 the way down from the top
chrome strip, so it's not *too* bad. When I put the hood up a few weeks
ago I was quite excited to find that I actually had a bit of head  clearance.
