On this subject I am very aware of this problem. 

 I am 6'2" and on my 77MGB long trips tend to put a cramp in my right leg,
due to 
no cruse control. I did take out the third strap under my set to sit a little
lower in the
car and this does help. However I live in Southern California, so my top is
not up alot. 

For real room I drive my 73 Caddy Cov. for fun.
