I was going to recommend a spin on adapter. I got mine from Moss years
ago, but had I known, would have gotten it from Bob. I knew there was
someone who makes them on here , so waited for Bob.
It has certainly made the job much easier. I don't know about a TF, but
on a TD the original is so close to the body that it's very difficult to
get at. The spin on eliminates that problem and also the seating
problem, besides being able to just go to your local auto parts store
and get one.
