I am planning a restore of a MGTD, it's in a friend's garage partially
disassembled and I'm here to learn as much as possible toward that end. I've
always built American cars with the exception of a Fiat Spider. (turned out
quite nice) The TD is red with what appears to be a fiberglass hardtop, it's
98% complete but in disarray. It's exciting to be working on British cars
again. I've previously made repairs to a series 1 FHC Jag, assisted in the
restores of a TR3 and a TR4a. This is my first British car I will be taking
the whole way through from start to finish, top to bottom. I possess the
major skills but am interested in learning the MG's specific idiosyncrasies
before making any expensive blunders. Thank you for all the welcomes I have
already received.
