Scott,
Don't assume that the carbon seal is not bad. there is a weep hole
in the bottom of the pump body that is there for the sole purpose of
letting the water that leaks past the carbon seal out of the body. I
would suspect that this is the source of your leak instead of the gasket
(sorry, I know you don't want to hear that). You should be able to get
a new seal from Moss or Abingdon (provided that the pump is one of the
latter ones. If it is an early pump, then you will have to replace the
pump).
