Bob,

I guess Moss is still sorting out clutch cable problems.

Last winter (a year ago) I helped a friend install a Moss clutch cable. We
found that the cable was about an inch too long. There was some difficulty
making it work, but some creative routing and taking up the adjustment all
the way would allow it to work.

Maybe they have changed suppliers? In any case, call and complain. If no one
says anything, things won't get better.

Regards,
Lew Palmer

I tried switching from the clutch rod to the clutch cable on my '52 TD. The
car originally had a cable but somewhere along the line had the rod
installed. I bought the Moss 331-070 cable and found that it is so heavy and
stiff that the spring can't return the pedal to the engaged position. It was
difficult to bend the cable to make the offset from the pedal box to the oil
pan bracket. Has anyone run into this problem? Is there a solution?
