How do you keep the cylinders from hydraulic locking-- pour it in very
slowly?

Ed, I did something like that using Marvel Mystery
oil. Just kept pouring it down the intake stacks until
the engine stopped. That gets oil into every part of
the engine (internal and external. I spill a lot.).
