Good points, Bryan. However I'm still mad (tongue-in-cheek) at Monte
Widdiston 'cause he made me wait 'til after Tom Burkland made his run -- I
was next in line but Tom B. was overheating in his firesuit -- Monte asked
me to wait one more vehicle -- and I missed seeing the 411 car go past me
(at the other end) at 438.

Oh, well -- I do have to comment about how many times I've thought about the
volunteers that run the various lsr races -- and wonder how they put up with
so much watching and working, so little racing of their own vehicles.
Thanks to all of you. Thanks again.

PS: I've already emailed Ellen at USFRA to "reserve" my spot for next years'
WoS. See you there!!

List
Let's not forget that all of the LSR clubs/organizations are all run
by volunteers who are probably much more interested in managing race cars
than people or organizations.

They sometimes they make decisions that are not (chose one or more):
1) Politically correct.
2) Fair to everyone.
3) Completely logical.
4) In compliance with all known facts.
5) (add your favorite here)

But, based on what they are paid, I think they do an excellent job.

That said, I still reserve the right to get pissed off at "them" (or they)
if I choose. It's just part of racin' ....
