Lots of talk on Firestones and M/T. However Goodyear makes a good LSR tire
also. Not the frontrunners but the Land Speed Eagle. Jim Fueling runs them
on his Liner. One version is NASCAR size...not the tire (width) of choice
for most at Bonneville...but have seen them run over 260 MPH on several
different types of vehicles without problems.
