If the SCTA, USFRA, and ECTA don't pay attention to, and STOP
electronic "rule stretching" by the "New Tech" boys NOW, LSR as we know it
will cease to exist because only the filthy rich will be able to race.
not true at all , as it is right now - the rich, hi tech boys race right
along side the poor old pig farmers on the flats, land speed will not cease
to exist because you can run a garbage can on wheels if you choose to as
long as it meets safety requirements - nobody is going to stop people
running out of date technology out there - they obviously havent yet -
electronics will become more popular, but nobody will stop you from running
a plain jane 4 banger single barrell carbed world war 1era flathead if
thats your bag either , but if youre obsessed with records, face it -
superior technology will eventually win out if your running out of date
technology.
