Doug @ Radon:
I was'nt "whining" READ what I said.
I was simply calling a spade a spade. I've been around long enough
in this racing game to know what's what, what's happened, and what will
happen. I have developed my opinions based on real world observations in the
last 35 years fooling with cars, racing and motorcycles.
I was advocating fair separation between the new technology and the
older '50s & '60s technology many people enjoy fooling around with.
Bonneville is not only about speed, but tradition as well....How many will
want to run a beautiful '32 ford coupe body for example if they know they
will have EFI new tech Firebirds in their class? To "bomb" their records?
That will effectively put the nails in the coffin of traditional body styles
as they have been for fifty years or more. There's room for everybody in
this game. Let's just try to make sure it stays that way OK?
You too are also fully entitled to your opinions and will doubtless
change them as time goes on, just as I and most everyone else does as the
years rattle on past us.
...best regards, Doug in NY 12:45pm edt Dec 3
BTW: I have seen your car and it is KILLER. Keep up the good work.
