I've also experienced problems getting all the air out of the Hundred m/c
area when trying to bleed the system manually. What I've found works
perfectly every time is my Gunson's Ezi-bleed kit. This uses a remote fluid
reservoir and gentle air pressure from a tire to pressurize the reservoir
(about 12PSI works well). Then it's simply a matter of opening each bleed
screw at the wheels, one at a time, farthest to nearest the 4 way junction
until clear fluid with no bubbles appears.
I've had some cars where only the ezi-bleed would get all the air ou from
the m/c area.
