Thanks to everyone who responded to my question about the orientation of the shift lever boot. The consensus is that the small neck that contacts the lever should be down. That raises the question with me of where the chrome band that is associated with the boot is located. It seems not right to me that it would be placed on the neck that is on the underside of the boot and therefore not seen. Ned Smith BJ8 near Chattanooga, TN N34.98 W85.5 |
