If anyone still has an *old* Cincinatti Microwave Escort or Passport
radar detector, the lighter plug for those was a 12V-9V transformer,
designed that way so that the detector would have cleaner power than a
simple 12V feed. You could adapt that as a power source for the G-Cube.
Personally, in my FF, I'll stick with the 9V battery. Just wish I had
some kind of battery strength indicator...
