Hi Phil,
          Are those 6mm class 12.9 socket head cap screws?  If so, that's
very similar to the powertune venier sprockets for the 6 cylinder engines.
I've used them a few times without issues, although the Goodparts option
with 5/16 bolts is much more confidence inspiring on a race engine.

For the 6mm bolts, I use blue loctite 243, and torque them to about 11
ft-lbs.
