The Peugeot 504 lifters that are very close in size to TR3/4 lifters were from
the XN6 gas engines, never had one hardness tested but worked on lots of them

The Peugoet lifters can be used in a TR- block to save a block that has worn
lifter bores by having them bored or honed oversize to fit the slightly
larger liftters.
