I learned to never trust plastigauge.=C2=A0.0005 too tight on a race motor =
and it's all over with. A street motor may not care though=20
but still reading plastigauge can be a matter opinion or interpretation =C2=
=A0instead of a hard dimension.=20
Whatever became of the came bearing clearance p oint I read about, or lack =
of cam bearings. That seemed the most plausible.=20
I also read something about a crack in a main casting that caused similar s=
ymptoms.=20

h my mechanic friend with a new oil pump and some plastic gauge to check th=

years of ownerhip.=20
