With the TR-6 it is not the rods (although they could use some help) but it is
the crankshaft. It has no overlap and thus it whips around and has a terrible
harmonic right where you want to race the engine.

Compare your TR6 rods to a TR4's. Ours are almost twice the size. Wish
the TR6 would work in a TR4. And with such small rods and pistons, why do
they say a TR6 will not live at much over 6,800 rpm or are they just
fibbing? Who would be honest and say how high they actually rev their
engine. My TR4 limiter is set at 7,200. Barry
